Knee osteoarthritis is a knee degenerative disease, usually affecting adults (aged 40 and above). It is due to the knee's cartilage degeneration.
The common symptoms include: knee pain, knee stiffness, muscle weakness and atrophy, knee deformity. The common causes include: knee trauma, meniscus sprain, ligament injury, patella dislocation or fracture, rheumatoid arthritis, infectious arthritis, knee deformities, obesity, meniscal cyst, genetics factors.
